Lined Assembly
- Detroit Flex Defense (DFD) can line metal hoses with a stainless steel interlock flexible metal tube. This will eliminate premature failure when the product being conveyed is at such a high velocity that it can cause resonant vibration within the hose causing it to prematurely fail.
Guarded Assembly
- Detroit Flex Defense (DFD) can attach stainless steel interlock flexible metal tubing to protect the outer braid of our metal hose assemblies. This will prevent premature failure from damage to rough handling, abrasion, or extreme flexing.
Jacketed Assembly
- Jacketed assemblies are used as a heated transfer line for those products which must be maintained at an elevated temperature in order to flow easily. Steam or hot oil is circulated through the jacket and heats the product being conveyed in the core hose.
Traced Assembly
- Traced hose assemblies are used when the product being transferred must be heated in order to flow easily. Steam or hot oil is circulated through the inner hose and heats the product in order to maintain the desired flow rate.
